Harrington Library

This fantastic library is run by MidCoast Council, and is located in the Harrington Waters Shopping Village. Here you can gain access to a great variety of books, audio books, eBooks, DVDs, CDs and more. Membership is free, and using your library card you can also borrow from other MidCoast Council Libraries including Taree, Wingham, Hallidays Point, Old Bar, Nabiac, Forster, Bulahdelah, Stroud, Tea Gardens and Gloucester. Your membership includes free access to the internet using the library’s computers which you can book by contacting the library directly on 02 6556 1652. Or, you may choose to use their free Wi-Fi with your own portable device. Printing is also available for a small fee.

Harrington Library Trading Hours: 

  • Staffed hours – 9am – 1pm Monday to Friday
  • Community Access Hours – 1pm – 5pm Monday to Friday. Weekends and Public Holidays 8am – 5pm

Harrington Function Centre

Harrington Function Centre is a purpose built venue, which is the local hub of community meetings, gatherings and functions. The community centre is located adjacent to the Harrington Water’s Shopping Village and is next door to the Library.
